The Role
As a Junior Platform Engineer, you will help build and improve Signicat’s global Digital Trust Platform, supporting digital identity needs across borders and throughout the customer journey.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and security experts to develop and maintain the software systems and infrastructure that power our services. This is a great opportunity to learn modern technologies, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your technical skills in a supportive environment.
At Signicat, we are always exploring new ideas and pushing boundaries to make digital business more secure and trusted for millions of users.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will learn to think critically about systems, their edge cases, and life cycles to help craft robust and efficient solutions that meet product needs while using the best tools and technologies available.
- You will collaborate with product owners and engineers to design systems and platform capabilities that improve reliability, speed, and user experience.
- You will contribute to building a culture of good DevOps practices and learn from experienced engineers how to maintain scalable, observable, and secure systems.
- You will take part in designing and improving our platform and technology roadmap, while receiving guidance and mentorship to grow your skills and confidence as an engineer.
Why we'll love you:
- You are curious about designing, building, and deploying scalable services and enjoy learning how different systems connect and perform.
- You are interested in understanding what makes services reliable, secure, and easy to use, and you are eager to learn how to build them that way.
- You have at least 2 years of programming experience, and a Master’s degree would be an advantage. For this role within DevTools, we are looking for someone with a solid programming background who enjoys building tools and improving developer workflows.
- You want to grow your knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, and gain experience with tools like Kubernetes and modern DevOps practices.
- You have a problem-solving mindset and like to understand how systems behave under real workloads.
