The Role
As a solution test engineer, you will help ensuring the quality and robustness of our global Signicat Digital Trust Platform for all digital identity needs across borders – in every step of the customer journey. We’re looking for an innovative and passionate engineer to join our QA Guild with a specific focus on non-functional testing across multiple teams and products. You’ll help design, build, and manage security-, load and performance testing using a variety of tools and techniques. You will be working with customer success, engineers, product managers and security experts to help us create a better experience for millions of users.
How you'll make an impact
- You’ll think deeply about systems — their edge cases, failure modes, and life cycles to craft robust but manageable solutions to meet product requirements while utilising best-of-breed solutions and tools whenever possible.
- You’ll work closely with product owners to design systems and platform capabilities that increase speed to market for features that delight our end users, while making these systems observable, reliable and deployable for our engineers
- You’ll be a champion and a solid hands-on practitioner for DevOps and testing best practices.
- You’ll offer mentorship and guidance on the best ways to test solutions across different product families.
Why we'll love you
- You are a bug magnet and can translate customer needs into test cases
- You decompose services into their concerns, i.e., performance, reliability, security, scalability, usability, and compliance.
- You are flexible and have an end-to-end solution mindset
- You have experience working as a SDET or part of development teams as a developer.
- You have experience writing tests using Karate, Playwright, Postman/Newman or similar tools.
- You are interested in performance and reliability testing using Jmeter, Gatling, K6 or Locust.
- You have experience designing, managing, and debugging solutions that include cloud services like Kubernetes, Istio, cert-manager, and Open Policy Agent.
- You are well-versed in Cloud PaaS (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure or similar)
- You know how to work with high-volume transaction environments
This is a wish list, if you have half of it we are already interested!
